Founded in 2008 by designer Ernesto Durán, Pietra Gallery began as one of the world's leading dealers in fossils and minerals. Today, the Mexican gallery transforms rare natural formations, sourced from deserts, tropical islands, mountaintops and Nordic forests, into collectible design, lighting and art objects for the contemporary home. Every piece is cut, carved and polished by master craftsmen: a limited edition that honours its geological origin.
